Welcome to Awkward Alchemy!

Hey there! If you're new to my world, I'm Becky - the main awkward alchemist at Awkward Alchemy! I'm a self-relationship and empowerment coach helping creative, witchy, misfit, weirdo women discover and connect with their inner magic so they can ditch the should/supposed to bullshit they’ve been told to follow and create a life that feels more aligned, fulfilling, and authentic to who they actually are. And, psssst...we do it all messy and awkward AF because that’s how healing and inner work really feels!

I'm also a mental illness warrior and a neurodivergent unicorn. Developing a healthy relationship with myself has literally saved my life, improved my mental health, allowed me to heal deep inner wounds, and go after dreams that I never thought I would. So, now I feel like it's my mission to help other badass women do the same for their own lives!

Here are just some of the concepts that are at the core of myself and my work...

Connection & Community: I was always the misfit, the one who never quite fit in. And, I always felt ashamed for "being different". I want to create a safe space where the misfits can unite and be themselves without fearing judgment or backlash

Creativity: Being creative has always been a healing outlet for me. And, I believe that creative self-expression is food for the soul. I believe in cultivating a space where you are free to create, express yourself, and heal

Mental Health Matters: Living with mental illnesses and being neurodivergent is no easy task - especially in a society where they are stigmatized and barely taken seriously. I want to work on building awareness, making changes in the system, and ending the stigma

Balance: I believe in balance in life rather than living in extremes. In my work, I believe that it is important to find balance in everything that we do together and work at a pace that feels comfortable to you #fuckthegrind

Self-Sovereignty & Agency: Having lived Most of my life on someone else's agenda and chasing someone else's dreams for me, I firmly believe that that is not how life is meant to be lived. I believe that we should have ownership of ourselves and our lives while being able to create the life that we want to live in the way we want to live it

Equity & Justice: Equality is great and all, but I do not believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach. I believe that we need equity vs. equality, and to actually work on fixing the broken systems within our society

This is my beginner's guide to processing emotions. In this mind-blowing journey of self-discovery, I’d be honored to be your guide through the art of feeling, processing, and releasing those emotions like a boss.
